My service was excellent. I ordered the open faced roast beef with french fries with gravy. I also made a trip to the salad bar. I thought my food was very good. I was greeted as soon I came in and seated with no wait. I had the perfect portion for a perfect lunch
Stopped here on a Tuesday night while passing thru the area. It was a nice family restaurant, nothing fancy, but exactly what I was looking for. The food was cooked to the right temperature and served pretty quick. The service was friendly and they made sure to check on me and refill my iced tea as needed. I had the flounder dinner and the flounder was lightly fried with just the right amount of breading. I wish they had offered tarter sauce, but it was fine without as it had plenty of flavor. The hush puppies were a nice addition.
Really enjoyed my time here thanks to Taylor and the other sweet staff. The shrimp burger was great. I love that they had a history of Williamston on the front of the menu . I love places like this.
I was visiting my mother and she told me that this was my brothers favorite place to take her. We went for breakgast, but ended up having the buffet the first visit and it did not disappoint. I had collard greens, yams/sweet potatoes, ribs, hush puppies and went back for more. The next day went went back for breakfast and it was even better. The biscuits were my favorite 😋. Waitresses and customers were very friendly. We chatted with a customer at the next table while trying to decide what we wanted and she was the true definition of southern hospitality. Will be going back on my next visit 😋😋
Food was outstanding!! We will be coming back Tracy was out waitress and she was so helpful and polite she was patient since we had never eaten here before. Highly recommend and we will be back-++ all the billys and Billie Jo's:)
Just an amazing place to be. My grandma loves this place and took me there. I can see why. We were stuck on lunch or breakfast for the first visit. We HAD to come back the next da, and they did not disappoint. The waiters were so lovely, the food... I can't go back to what I eat where I live 😂 it's so plan in comparison. I hope to be back soon and for longer.
Hate that the place is up for sale. My boyfriend and I took his son to eat before its sold just in case. Great food, great service and hopefully get to go back soon.
Great little cafe. It looked like a local hangout. We had breakfast and it was fantastic! I'm from the south and these guys know how to make great grits. We loved our breakfast bacon(and lots of it), eggs, biscuit and gravy. Plus a side grits for me... just the way I like them
My experience at Shamrock was AMAZING!!! :) My grandmother introduced me to this restaurant she used to frequent when she lived in the area. We decided to go here during our vacation! The buffet food was fresh and very yummy! The staff are very hospitable and nice as well! I can’t wait to come back!!! 😋
This is my go to spot when I’m NC! I love the country atmosphere, the southern food is what I look for when I’m in town! The breakfast lunch and dinner is buffet or menu order, and the ice tea is very good! There is always a variety and great selection of food! But I’ve read that they were closing and I’m very disappointed because where will I go to get food like I have been enjoying for the last 10 years!
